![]() ![]() Especially Hans and Anna who we haven't even met in part 1. ![]() Them talking to her via her mobile phone gave us some interesting insides into her current situation, but without those, Kate seemed rather clueless and meh in part 2.Īll in all I liked the world they created and thought that Hans, Anna and Oscar were all fascinating characters. Anything really.Īnd Dan, Olivia and her mother were completely disregarded in part 2. ![]() She could have just told the Hotelowner to send the papers to the office before running to the train, or giving them to the candy owner. Instead of showing us that she is mesmerized by the unique world around her.Īnd it just irritated me that the McGuffin of the first part (the legal papers to sell the company) were completely ignored in part 2. She merely tells us that everything is fascinating and that's why she is leaving her old life. She barely shows any emotion when she is confronted with the marvels created by Hans and the breathtaking cities she visits. I wouldn't mind her being stiff or anything, but at least give us something. Kate Walker herself is also quite the boring person. I needed in total something like 15 hours to complete both games and it feels like 5 hours of those were me running around endlessly in circles. The story is extremely fascinating and I was eager to meet Hans, but the actual gameplay and game design is super tedious with big beautiful but empty worlds. So after finishing both games I have mixed feelings about the series. ![]()
